Competition Results

Thank you for being part of the 5th Petrichor International Music Competition!

We were thrilled to receive hundreds of entries spanning 29 countries this year. The extraordinary talent presented a wonderful challenge for our jury, leading us to name shared prize winners in several categories.

In line with our established process, the competition operates as a single-round event where our artistic committee evaluates entries through progressive shortlisting stages. As in past years, we continue to publicly recognize these evaluation stages by announcing Finalists and Semi-Finalists alongside our Winners. Additionally, to celebrate the exceptional level of artistry heard this year, the committee has spotlighted over 10 additional semi-finalists whose work deeply resonated with the panel.

Please note that only the participants who advanced to these specific shortlisted tiers are published below. If your name does not appear on this list, your application did not advance to the semi-finalist stage this year.

If you are a winner, finalist, or semi-finalist, our team will reach out in the coming weeks regarding prizes and next steps, including exclusive album release sponsorships from Petrichor Records for selected musicians.

A Note on Feedback & Future Competitions

Due to the high volume of entries and our focus as a competition rather than an educational platform, we are unable to provide individual feedback. All decisions made by the artistic committee and jury are final.

Art is inherently subjective, and not being selected this year is in no way a reflection of your talent. Because our jury panel rotates annually, a future committee may hear your work in a completely different light, and we strongly encourage you to apply again!

The 6th Petrichor International Music Competition will be announced in August. Stay tuned!
